This past weekend I hosted holiday mini sessions for clients to have family photos taken in Summerfield, North Carolina. These sessions took place at Doggettville Farm in Summerfield, NC.
Over the course of two days, I was able to photograph 10 families! These mini sessions were designed to provide families in Greensboro and surrounding areas an opportunity to have family photos taken. With the holidays right around the corner, there is no better time to have family photos taken.

We planned these for the first weekend in November to give people enough time to order their Christmas and holiday cards before the mad rush!

When hiring a family photographer in Greensboro, the timing of your photos is crucial. I like to use this resource to keep track of the sunrise and sunset times. It is my preference to take photos during “golden hour”. This is the most opportune time to get a beautiful glow in your photos.
Golden hour is the time of day when the sun is just rising or setting. It’s usually ideal to take photos within 30 minutes of the sun rising or setting. The time will be different every day.
