Congratulations to Ben and Casey! They are engaged!
When Casey reached out to me for engagement photos, I knew just the spot for us to go. She described to me the effortless look she was hoping to achieve for their engagement photos in North Carolina. Casey also told me that her birth flower was poppy, and luckily Dogwood Farms is swimming in poppies right now! Because of the time of year, we planned to go to the well-known Dogwood Farms in Belews Creek, North Carolina.
Dogwood Farms rotates the types of flowers they grow throughout the year. This spring, the poppies and larkspur were in full bloom. The rolling hills that embody this local North Carolina farm are covered in stunning blankets of reds, purples, whites, and greens. This spot is truly a slice of paradise. If you look in the distance past the rolling hills, you can even spot Pilot Mountain.
For Casey and Ben’s spring engagement photos in North Carolina, this location was spot on and checked all the boxes when it comes to dreamy engagement photos.
Dogwood Farms NEVER disappoints! I have had the opportunity to visit the farm a few times now. In the fall, they have zinnias, cosmos, and sunflowers blooming all over the place! This spring, they had poppy and larkspur growing in their fields. When you visit Dogwood Farms in Belews Creek NC, you cannot help but feel complete joy and splendor from the beauty these flowers deliver.
Casey and Ben have been a couple for several years now, and I am so thrilled to see them engaged and ready to tie-the-knot in North Carolina! Casey picked this flattering, neutral dress from Petal + Pup. Ben chose this long sleeve button-up from Lululemon which paired perfectly with Casey’s dress.
