Their wedding took place on a Friday, and I am now a huge fan of Friday weddings. The reason being, it gives people a chance to get back home on Saturday and have another day to recover before the work week starts on Monday. It is especially nice when you have out-of-town guests traveling to your wedding and they have more time to get back home after the celebrations are over.
For Madison and Connor, they happened to plan for a flotilla the following day after the wedding, so the party continued throughout the entire weekend. They started out on Thursday with their rehearsal dinner on the Virginia Dare Cruise, Friday was the wedding, and then Saturday was the flotilla. It was an action packed wedding weekend at Smith Mountain Lake, and it was exactly what Madison and Connor wanted.
When I say this Smith Mountain Lake Wedding was a blast, I mean it! Madison and Connor tied the knot on this epic September day at Smith Mountain Lake.
